All you need to know about Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen's 'mutual' divorce after 13 years of marriage and 2 kids

Tom Brady, the American football quarterback, takes the decision to separate paths with his wife Gisele Bundchen, a Brazilian fashion model, after a mutual agreement.

Gisele Bundchen files the documents for divorce on Friday 28 Oct 2022 in Glades county, Fl. Bundchen and Brady reached a marital agreement including a parenting plan, the terms were filed with court confidentially.

Tom Brady wrote on his Instagram story ''We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. we will continue to work as parents to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration and added ''we only wish for the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our life that are yet to be written".

Gisele Bundchen also shared on her social media account her thoughts about the divorce ''With much gratitude o our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they greatly deserve. The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, Of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish for the best for Tom always''.

Allegedly they started living separately in September, believing that they must have taken the decision about divorcing each other.

Why are Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen getting a divorce

Tom retired from the NFL on February 1, 2022, and later on just after a month and 10 days [after 40 days] he un-retired from the NFL, at the time of retirement. 

Brady said ''I haven't had a Christmas in 23 years and I haven't had a Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven't celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born August to late January. And I'm not able to be at funerals, And I'm not able to be at weddings. I think there comes a point in your life where you say: You know what? I've had my fill and it's enough time to go on, to move into other parts of life".

After Tom announced of return to the NFL, the couple seems to be struggling with their relationship with each other, Gisele also mentions in an interview that this is a violent sport which is concerning to her, not her only but for the children as well and how she wants Tom to be more present and whenever they had this conversation Tom seems to prioritize his interest and cause of joy for his [job]. Gisele added that she thinks that everyone makes the decision that they think is better for them. And Tom also needs to follow his source of joy too. 

They seem to, want to prioritize their priorities and move on in life further.

Is the career of Tom Brady the actual problem for their separation? the couple seems to have issues due to the kids in the relationship cause it's not just about sacrificing and compromising for one another but, the responsibility comes in between for their children, and the wait and compromise of [Thirteen] 13 years seems to create distance between the couple, for them to take the decision for divorce.

After their divorce on Friday 28th, October Tom Brady had an interview on Monday's episode of his Sirius XM show Let's Go!, He talks about his divorce.

 I think there are a lot of professionals in life that go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home, Obviously, the good news is that it's a very amicable situation and I'm really focused on two things taking care of my family and certainly my children, and secondly, doing the best job I can to win the football games'' he said.

''So, that's what professionals do. you focus at work when it's time to work, and then when you come home you focus on the priorities that are at home. All you could do is do the best you could do. That's what I'll continue to do as long as I'm working and as long as I'm being a dad'' Brady added.

Tom Brady exclaims that having a divorce that is publicly discussed makes things more difficult than it already was, saying we are normal human beings with different and unique challenges in life and we do the best we could do. 

Tom Brady And Gisele Bundchen's divorce settlement

Tom and Gisele kept their details of divorce a totally confidential agreement and away from the public eye, the custody of the children is also joint and both will be doing co-parenting while being separated.

Both Tom and Gisele have their own net worth in millions of dollars reportedly. Tom Brady had approximately $330 million, after the 2022 season. On the other hand, Gisele Bundchen has her own net worth of $400 million. 

Other than the net worth they share multiple properties together, sharing $26 million in real estate, including their recent purchase of a home on Indian creek island in Miami worth $17 million that they bought back in 2020. 

But as they have kept their settlement private and confidential there's no confirmation for the settlement.
