BTS Member's Enlistment In The Military For Mandatory Services: Jin Will Be The First Member To Join And The Other Members To Follow him After Solo Plans

The world's biggest k-pop group BTS surprised fans with the announcement of BTS's enlistment in the military which was confirmed by the agency on 17 October 2022, When HYBE Entertainment officially announced the news on weverse. 

As Korean males must provide mandatory services before they turn 30, The global world stars BTS also are going to perform their duties and services to their home nation. although there were several debates on the issue because of the silence of HYBE Entertainment about the BTS group's military service and it was also an economical agenda as well, because the group influenced the economy of South Korea. several petitions also take place for BTS exemption from the South military as it became a political factor.

Although the members have always been on the agreeable side about the military service and has have mentioned it multiple times, whenever the topic had been brought up, they will perform the mandatory service as it is their duty towards their country being its citizen. 

The eldest member of BTS will be turning 30 this year because of which there was a lot of debate on, the exemption and how BTS will manage the group after 1 member has gone for almost two years but, the members decided to do their services at the same time, and the whole group will be on a break for three years.

Starting with Jin the rest of the members will follow along in the enlistment for their mandatory service, Jin's solo song that just came out on 28 October 2022 which was the solo activity he had planned before joining, which was a collaboration with Coldplay to give a goodbye for a while to the Army before leaving for the military. He also had a concert in Argentina with Coldplay with his new song The Astronaut, Jin will be enlisted in the military officially in December 2022 before he turns 30 to exempt any kind of exemption.

In the live before the Argentina concert jib opens about the criticism and hate, he got for not enlisting and not bringing up the topic or giving any updates on it, while he said that he was preparing for going into the military willingly and was not waiting for any kind of exemptions as they are world stars or something and this is his own decision to go in the military.

As jin is going for his services the other members also decided to go as well and provide their services at the same time and return as the whole group in 2025 instead of having one member go every other year, this is a sad and happy moment for Armies as well as they will be gone for 2 years but happy that they will be back as a group and will not be leaving the soon then.

The dates of the other members' enlistment have not been confirmed yet but they will be enlisting till June 2023 gradually after their solo release and promotions.
