The movie created a lot of hype, in today’s world of movies, the psychological thriller has taken quite a place for horror movies and the place that can only be justified due to the lack of irrelevant jumpscares or torture moments but the thrillers are themselves a very difficult project to work on since it heavily relies on the unexpected twist and when the twist becomes apparent, the story can become hard to watch since it is imperative to say that whole movie is building to that one or more twist that leads to the brain teaser. The same thing happened in the eyes of many viewers of the movie but the movie can be quite entertaining

Movie Review
Alice and Jack Chambers reside in the picturesque company town of Victory, California. While their wives like Bunny and Margaret stay at home to clean and make dinner for their husbands, the men were only supposed to work at Victory Headquarters. The wives were not allowed to work at the Headquarters and were forbidden even from inquiring about their husbands' jobs. Following the apparent death of her kid after taking him into the desert, Margaret has become an outcast. She maintains that Victory took her son as a form of retribution. Alice notices Margaret's husband attempting to rob Frank, head of Victory.
Alice also observes the pharmaceutical attempt made by Margaret's husband. Ignoring what she saw, she and Jack went to Frank's bedroom, she notices Frank spying on them.
Alice watches a plane crash in the desert one morning as she travels across town on the trolley, Alice rushed to the scene to help with the crash, she went into Headquarters, a small structure with mirror-like windows. She touches one and later that night wakes up back at home after bizarre hallucinations. She begins to encounter progressively bizarre happenings over the next few days. She gets a call from Margaret, who says she witnessed the same incident as Alice. When Alice visits Margaret, she watches as she cuts her own throat and plunges to her death from her home's roof. Men in red jumpsuits take Alice away before she can get to Margaret's body.
Alice tried to warn and alert Jack but he completely rejected the idea and was adamant that Margaret just fell while cleaning the windows and is now healing. The local doctor, Dr. Collins, tries to offer Alice prescription medication, which lends extra credence to this scenario. As Alice's confusion and paranoia worsen, Alice has a breakdown in the restroom and is consoled by Bunny during a Victory ceremony where Frank offers Jack a special promotion. Bunny reacts violently, calling Alice selfish, as Alice tries to explain everything to her.
Later, Alice and Jack have a dinner party with Frank and his wife Shelley as special guests, inviting the rest of the neighborhood (except for Bunny and her husband Dean). Frank. After that, Alice pleads with Jack to remove them both from Victory. Jack first concurs, but once Alice is in the car, he permits the guys in red jumpsuits to take her away. Alice is made to receive electroshock therapy by Dr. Collins. Throughout the treatment, she has images of herself as Alice Warren, a modern-day surgeon who struggles to make ends meet and lives with the unemployed Jack.
While Alice rejoins Jack in Victory, she still experiences hallucinations and flashbacks. Later, she remembers the whole truth: that Jack coerced her into entering the simulation for them to have a perfect life together. Victory is a synthetic world that Frank constructed. Once JackWhen Frank learns of Jack's passing, he sends his men to seize Alice. Alice is found by Bunny, who says that despite always knowing that Victory was a simulation, Alice decided to remain so she could be with her real-life children who had passed away. She orders Alice to leave through the simulation's exit portal at Headquarters. As their husbands begin to freak out, the other wives start to understand the reality. Alice is being pursued by Dr. Collins and Frank's men, who eventually stumbled into each other as they follow Alice in Jack's car toward Headquarters. To regain control, Shelley kills Frank in their home. After arriving at Headquarters, Alice sees a vision of Jack pleading with her to stay. Alice disregarded the vision and sprinted towards the window waking in the “real” world.
