Taylor Swift On The Top Yet Again: Received Artist Of The Year Award

The "Midnights" singer and songwriter Taylor Swift
has once again swept every award on the AMA Awards she was nominated for, Taylor
Swift took home all six of the awards she was up for, Taylor shining in the
illuminating gold jumpsuit claimed that recent fan love had inspired her to
write new music, which made her happier. "I have the fans to thank
essentially for my happiness," Swift said during the Los Angeles Awards.
At the American Music Awards on Sunday, the superstar singer
hasn’t even left the most prestigious award “artist of the year” and made
history as Swift received the award for the album “Red” released years before. Swift
now has 40 career wins to her name, breaking her own record for most victories
at the biggest fan-voted awards show in the world. "I cannot express how
unbelievable it is to me that I still do this and that you still care,"
Taylor said showing how the high road is going to take her to more victories.
Taylor Swift recently released her 10th Album “Midnight”
which has taken all the places in the top 10 in Billboard singles making
history yet again. Swift defeated unmatched contenders for the artist of the
year award, including Beyoncé, Harry Styles, The Weekend, Drake, Adele, and Bad
Bunny, who entered the evening with a majority of eight nominations.
‘Pink’, a popular artist, sang her energetic song
"Never Gonna Not Dance Again" as she skated around the stage while
performing at the AMAs. Later on in the ceremony, she gave a tribute
performance of "Hopelessly Devoted to You" in honor of the late
"Grease" star Olivia Newton-John. The 1980s musician Lionel Richie,
best known for his hit single "All Night Long," received the AMA's
icon award.
